Pittsburg Off Grid Camp
off grid i lake house i camp
This hemlock cabin was distinctively drawn and detailed by hand in a hand-written letter by a wonderful gentleman from Rhode Island who, along with his wife, wanted an exquisite gem of a cabin just near Lake Francis up in Pittsburg. The hand drawn cabin design is exactly what we built. Which never happens. The gentleman even specified and sent the champfers he wanted hon his hemlock timberframe, which we faithfully used. He sent the color of paint for the ceiling boards which we thought would be terrible. It wasn’t. It was a beautiful 1940s hunting cabin salmon. The roof is 22/12, the eyebrow dormer and the recurve arch braces are all magical as were the detailing the couple used to finish the cabin.
