Garland Mill is an integrated Design + Build company that specializes in the design and construction of high performing buildings. We work primarily in New Hampshire’s North Country and the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Our work encompasses renovation, new construction and the occasional light commercial project. Most of our buildings are either Net Zero or Passive House inspired. We prioritize accessibility, clean, and local building materials, and long-term relationships with our employees, our community, trade partners, and clients.

Garland Mill offers a registered apprenticeship program in partnership with Apprenticeship NH and the US Department of Labor.

  • Term of Apprenticeship: 6,000 hours (3 years) paid on-the-job training
  • Related Instruction: NHTI – Concord’s Community College; National Center for Construction Education and Research, OSHA 10

scholarship

Garland Mill Trades and Building Sciences Scholarship is an annual scholarship open to White Mountains Regional High School (WMRHS) seniors who are interested in pursuing careers in the trades or building sciences, including but not limited to: architecture, engineering, carpentry, drafting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and solar.
