Net Zero
residential i mountain home i net zero
Net Zero mountain home, built to the superinsulation standard. This home was designed for a family for whom Garland Mill raised a timber frame home just over 30 years ago in Vermont. The 2nd generation was interested in a mountain home in the Franconias and got back in touch. The idea was to build a home with enough space for college kids and friends to crash in the basement or over the garage. Bathroom and bedroom space was a key for extended family to clean up and warm up after a long day in the mountains without having to stand in line. Built on a double lot, this home has potential to receive a guest cabin for the third generation someday.
