PJ Noyes Building
commercial i renovation i all electric
During Covid, Garland Mill partnered with Alba Architects and Michael Bruss from Bruss Project Management to gut a beautiful old building in need of addressing 100 years of deferred maintenance. Together, with the help of many excellent local contractors, the Town of Lancaster, we put it all back together into six new apartments and one retail local foods store with a commercial kitchen. An historic building, we spend many hours removing, cleaning and re-using original materials including flooring, tin ceilings, wainscott as well as restoring and displaying curios from former occupants. PJ Noyes is now a brand new, accessible 12,000 ft2, modern, all-electric building wrapped in the grace and warm features of an historic Main Street.
