Garland Mill in the Press
Garland Mill has been featured recently in two prominent magazines: Fine Homebuilding and NH Home. Both articles focus on the Holderness deep energy retrofit that earned LEED platinum status in 2009.
The Fine Homebuilding article “A Closer Look: Zero-Energy Homes” (March 2010) features three net-zero homes in the country. The Garland Mill home is the only retrofit of the group.
The NH Home article “Giving Back to the Grid” (March/April 2010) goes in-depth into the retrofit details and discusses the owner Jane Bindley’s reasons for choosing net zero as her goal.
